2003-04: Suited up for the WCHA Final Five championship game vs. Minnesota (March 20) after sitting out UND's previous 11 games ... Had last played Feb. 7 at Wisconsin ... Scored his lone goal of the season against Findlay (Dec. 27) ... Also added an assist in that game for his lone multi-point outing of the season ... Earned third letter.

2002-03: All-WCHA Academic Team selection ... Tied for third on team in goals ... Sixth on team in scoring ... Set career-highs in goals (15), assists (20) and points (35) ... Tied a career high with four points against Yale (Nov. 2) ... Enjoyed a five-game goal streak from Nov. 22 to Dec. 6 ... Had 11 multi-point games ... Amassed 31 points over a 21-game stretch from Nov. 2 to Jan. 18 ... Earned second letter.

2001-02: Tied for third on team in rookie scoring with 13 points ... Was second among UND freshmen with five goals ... In the 2001 USHL playoffs, Massen scored six goals and two assists in eight games ... Named a first-team All-Star in the USHL for 2000-01 ... Second overall in the USHL in goals scored (37) and fourth overall in scoring (75 points) ... A two-year letterwinner in hockey at Bismarck High School ...
