One of his assists came on Chris Porter’s overtime game-winning goal against Minnesota in the NCAA West Region championship game ... Also had an assist on Matt Watkins’ game-winning goal in a 5-2 win over Colorado College on Nov. 25 ... Jones missed the only game of his career on Oct. 7 vs. Quinnipiac ... Had a plus/minus rating of +5 on the season ... Earned second letter.
2005-06 (Freshman): Appeared in all 46 games as freshman, collecting six assists ... Ranked fifth on the team with 93 penalty minutes ... Finished season with a +14 plus/minus rating, ninth on the team ... Had +6 plus/minus rating over his last seven games ... Notched his first collegiate point with an assist at Michigan Tech (Dec. 2) ... Earned first letter.
Before UND: Spent the 2004-05 season with the U.S. National Under-18 Team, playing in 41 games, and tallying one goal, one assist and 74 penalty minutes ...
