Before UND: Played one junior college season at Minnesota State Technical College  where he helped lead the Spartans to the Minnesota College Athletic Conference and Region XIII Championships ... Finished runner-up at the event with a 36-hole total of 154 (+10) ... Took medalist honors at his JUCO-debut at the Bismarck State Invitational, carding a 143 (-1) ... Also captured medalist honors at the Tri-College Invite with a score of 70 (-2) and the Central Lakes Invite with a two-round total of 146 (+2) ... Also helped lead Spartans to team titles with runner-up finishes at the Spring Invite, the Rochester Invitational and the Spartan Invitatioanl ... Prepped at Wahpeton High School.
