Biography

2011-12 (Freshman): Had three assists in 30 games ... All three of his points came over his last nine games ... Set up Brock Nelson’s game-tying goal in a 6-3 WCHA Final Five semifinal win over No. 4 Minnesota in which UND rallied from a 3-0 second-period deficit ... Notched his first collegiate point with an assist in a 4-2 win over Minnesota State (March 2) ... Added another assist and was a +2 in UND’s 4-3 win over Bemidji State in the WCHA first round (March 10) … Earned his first letter.

Before UND: Played for the NAHL’s Alaska Avalanche in 2010-11 and notched 27 points (6g, 21a) in 41 games ... Also boasted a plus-18 rating ... Led all Avalanche defensemen with four power-play goals ... Played three games with the USHL’s Chicago Steel to open the 2010-11 season ... Spent the 2009-10 season with the USHL’s Youngstown Phantoms and had five assists in 55 games ... A 2010 graduate of Washington High School.
