2017-18 (Junior): Named an All-American Scholar by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) … Earned his third straight selection to the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team and was also named an NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete … Earned a spot on UND’s President’s Roll of Honor  during both the fall and spring semesters … Made his unofficial collegiate debut in UND’s 5-2 exhibition win over the U.S. Under-18 Team on Dec. 30 ... Played the final 2 minutes, 44 seconds but did not face a shot on goal ... Appearance was his first as a collegian since joining UND in 2015-16 ... Prior to that game, had suited up for 31 games in his career as either UND’s No. 2 or No. 3 goaltender but had not seen game action … Earned third letter.

2016-17 (Sophomore): Earned second straight NCHC Academic All-Conference Team Selection ... Was also named to the NCHC Scholar-Athlete Team ... Earned a spot on both UND’s President’s Honor Roll and Dean’s List for both the fall and spring semesters … Did not see any game action … Earned second letter.

2015-16 (Freshman): Made the team as a walk-on during fall camp ... Named to NCHC Academic All-Conference Team … Received UND’s Tom Hoghaug Memorial Scholarship, given annually to the “freshman who demonstrates initiative, character and a sense of responsibility” … Named to UND’s Dean’s List during the Fall 2015 semester and the President’s Honor Roll during Spring 2016 semester … Did not see game action ... Suited up as UND’s No. 2 goaltender on seven occasions and its No. 3 goalie on nine others … Earned first letter. 

Before UND: Spent the 2014-15 season with the NAHL’s Minnesota Wilderness ... A 2014 graduate of Roseau High School ... Went 24-7-5 with a 2.38 goals against average and .890 save percentage ... Tied for fifth in the NAHL in wins... Backstopped Roseau High School to Minnesota State tournament as a senior ... Also lettered five times in golf and once in football. 

Personal: Majoring in biology ... Son of Mary & Earl Anderson ... Father played hockey at North Dakota (1969-73), served as team captain as a senior, and played parts of three seasons in the NHL with Detroit and Boston.
