2022-23 (Senior) – Played in 16 games, making his lone start the season opener at Incarnate Word…played a season high 25 minutes in a win against Utah Tech, in which he scored a season high 15 points…reached double figures in three games: Utah Tech, Cal St. Fullerton (12) and North Central (Minn.) (12)…averaged 13.4 minutes per game and 4.8 points per game…shot .311 from the field and .318 from three point range, shined from the free throw line as he was second the team with a .842 free throw percentage…finished the year with a 1.5/1 assist/turnover ratio


2021-22 (Junior): Played in 21 games with nine starts ... Had the third-best free throw percentage on the team at 80.6 percent (25-of-31) ... Averaged 7.5 points per game ... Made eight of nine at the charity stripe in single-digit games with under five minutes to go ... Missed a portion of the season with injury ... Made the game-winning driving layup vs. Montana (Nov. 15) to cap a 14-point comeback in the 79-77 win ... Before UND: As a freshman for the Wildcats, Nero appeared in all 33 games and helped lead Weber State to a semifinal appearance at the Big Sky Conference Tournament ... The Tulsa, Okla., native averaged 6.5 points per game, reaching double figures eight times, and tallying a season-high 19 points in a pair of wins over Montana State and Eastern Washington ... Nero also dished out 47 assists, swiped 21 steals and knocked down 18 triples in his freshman season ... A prep standout in the state of Oklahoma, Nero led Tulsa Memorial High to a 5A state title in his final season after averaging 24.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game to earn state MVP honors by the Tulsa World ... He was lights-out from the field, knocking down over 58 percent of his shots from the field and over 40 percent from distance ... Following his standout senior season, Nero attended Sunrise Christian Prep Academy in Wichita, Kansas and averaged 13 points, four assists and two rebounds per game at Sunrise.
