Jamie Ochsenwald

Jamie Ochsenwald joined North Dakota February of 2019 and serves as the assistant strength & conditioning coach for soccer, volleyball and both men’s and women’s basketball. Ochsenwald also spent time as the assistant strength & conditioning coach with the UND football, softball and golf programs.

Before joining North Dakota, Ochsenwald spent two years at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minn. While with the Scots, Ochsenwald worked with all sports, while serving specifically as the assistant strength & conditioning coach for men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s tennis, women’s volleyball and women’s water polo programs.
 
Ochsenwald has also completed internships with the University of Louisville, Marquette University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the University of Notre Dame.

Ochsenwald was a four-year letterwinner as a member of the soccer team at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Upon graduation, Ochsenwald served an assistant sports performance coach for the soccer team for two seasons.

A native of Cedarburg, Wis., Ochsenwald graduated from Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise & sports science with a nutrition minor. She received her master’s degree in human performance/strength & conditioning from Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2017, while also serving as a graduate assistant, working with the women’s basketball, women’s soccer, men’s & women’s swimming & diving and football teams.

Ochsenwald is a certified strength & conditioning coach through the Collegiate Strength & Conditioning Coaches association (CSCCa), certified strength & conditioning coach through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Level 1 Sports Performance Coach through the United States Weightlifting Federation (The USAW).
