Josh McSwain joined the UND athletic department in January of 2023 as the contact for Volleyball, Men's Basketball and Softball.

From 2019-2022, he served as the Coordinator of Media Relations at Truman State University. In that role he handled the communications and statistics for Volleyball, Men's Soccer, Men's Basketball, Women's Tennis, Baseball and Men's and Women's Swimming. He also served one year as the Assistant SID at East Texas Baptist University.

Originally from Texas, he graduated from the University of Missouri with his Bachelor's in 2014.
