Personal: Believed to be the eighth Fargo, N.D., native to play for North Dakota ... His late grandfather, Earl Strinden, served over three decades as the Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of the UND Alumni Association and UND Foundation and was crucial in the construction of Ralph Engelstad Arena.
