Gabe Dahl is in his 6th season on the UND coaching staff and works with the infielders and hitters.

A native of Cold Spring, MN, Dahl was a four-year letter winner, a three-year starter, captain, and ranks in UND’s career top ten in doubles, RBI, and total bases.  He holds the Sioux record for homeruns in a game (3) and RBI in a game (8).  Dahl graduated with honors from UND (2001) with a degree in social sciences and secondary education and currently is in his sixth year of teaching at Red River High School in Grand Forks.  Dahl completed his Master’s Degree in Education administration in 2005 and is currently working on his Specialist Degree.

He spent two years (1998-99) as the assistant legion coach in Cold Spring and two years (2000-01) as the head coach leading the Springers to two conference championships and two sub-district titles.  Dahl spent three years as the assistant coach of the Grand Forks Blues (2002-2004), one year as the head coach of the Blues (2005), and is currently the Head coach for the Grand Forks Royals Legion Team.
