Jennifer Glueckert

Jennifer Glueckert is entering her second year as an assistant coach for the University of North Dakota softball team.

Glueckert comes to the Sioux after completing her senior season as an outfielder for Indiana in 2010 where she was honored second team All-Big Ten conference and named the Hoosiers most valuable player. She was 12th in the Big Ten in batting average her senior season among players having started over 50 percent of games played while leading UI in batting average, doubles and triples. She also collected 14 RBI and 11 runs in 48 games.

Glueckert was a four-year letterwinner for the Hoosiers where she split time between right field and as the designated player totaling 169 games of action. She graduated from Indiana with a bachelor's degree in social and behavioral sciences.

A native of South Bend, Ind., Glueckert earned letters in softball, volleyball and basketball form John Adams High School. As the team captain of her softball team she was tabbed first team all-state her senior season, second team all-state her junior season and all-conference all four seasons. Finished her career ranking in the top 10 in Indiana high school history in triples.
