Mandy Arndtson is in her first year as a student-assistant on the North Dakota coaching staff after completing a distinguished career at UND last spring.

A native of Austin, Minn., Arndtson was part of Fighting Sioux teams that went 116-11 over four years, winning two national championships and finishing as national runner-up last season. She finished her playing career as the Sioux's 12th all-time leading scorer with 1,204 points. She also ranks 10th on the career rebounding list with 678.

She is currently student teaching in East Grand Forks, Minn.
