Ethan Erdman joined UND in October of 2023 as the Director of Communications for women's basketball, women's soccer and web services.
Prior to UND, Erdman served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. He oversaw all sports information duties, including gameday operations for all 18 varsity sports. Erdman was named the 2022-23 GPAC SID of the Year. Erdman served as a graduate assistant at Briar Cliff during the 2020-21 season and assisted the sports information director with coverage of all varsity teams.
Erdman has worked with the NAIA as a statistician for the women's basketball and women's volleyball national championship tournaments from 2020-23. He was the lead statistician for all six NAIA national championship games.
A native of Forest City, Iowa, Erdman earned bachelor's degree in sports management and business administration from Briar Cliff in 2019 and his master's degree in sports management from Briar Cliff in 2022.
