All-American Kyley Foster stepped into a Volunteer Assistant Coach's role after concluding her career at North Dakota in the spring of 2019. She will assist jumps, sprints and multi-events coach Dan McCarty with pole vault, while also acting as flying instructor at the Grand Forks Airport. Foster is a licensed helicopter pilot.
Foster, alongside Molli Detloff, became the first Fighting Hawks in North Dakota's Division I history to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in 2019. The Detroit Lakes, Minn., native made the most of the opportunity and earned Second Team All-America in her lone NCAA Championship appearance during her career.
She was a two-time conference champion, winning the 2018 Big Sky Outdoor Championship title and the 2019 Summit League Indoor Championship honor.
While she collected All-Big Sky Academic honors, she was also a two-time All-Summit Academic All-Conference selection and a three-time honoree on the USTFCCCA's All-Academic team.
