Rhiannon Vandegrift

Rhiannon Vandegrift- DAT, ATC

Rhiannon Vandegrift joined the Department of Sports Medicine in August 2022. Her primary responsibility at UND is the women's soccer program.

She came to UND after serving as an Athletic Trainer at the University of Minnesota Crookston from August 2021 to August 2022 where she provided healthcare services to Men’s Basketball, Women’s Soccer, and Men’s Hockey. 

Vandegrift graduated from Southern Utah in 2019, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science. She went on to earn a Master of Athletic Training Degree in 2021 from SUU, where she also served as an adjunct instructor in the Department of Kinesiology and Outdoor Recreation. She then earned a Doctor of Athletic Training degree from Temple, along with a certificate in Teaching in Higher Education in 2023. Vandegrift later obtained a graduate certificate in December of 2024 in Health Administration from UND and currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Sports Leadership at UND.

She currently resides in Grand Forks with her cat, Olivia, and dog, Alvin.Â
