Crystal Cummins

Crystal Cummins is in her third year as an assistant coach with the Fighting Sioux men's and women's track and field teams. She works primarily with UND's long jumpers, high jumpers and triple jumpers and also assists with the sprinters.

Before coming to UND, Cummins served as assistant coach for both men's and women's track and field at Minnesota State University, Moorhead during the 2005-06 season.

At MSUM, she coached jumps and helped lead the Dragon women to a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference championship in 2006.

Cummins attended North Dakota State University where she was a member of the 2001 women's indoor national championship team. During her track and field career with the Bison, Cummins was as a ten-time NCAA Division II All-American in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump. In 2003, Cummins was the North Central Conference's high jump champion and also received regional athlete of the year honors.

Cummins graduated from NDSU with a degree in political science in 2003 and is a 1998 graduate of Fargo South High School.
