While at Division II Concordia-Irvine, Meador served the program as a graduate assistant coach for two seasons from 2018-2020. He was responsible for implementation and execution of all blocking systems. During his time with UCI, the Golden Eagles led the PacWest in team blocking and were ranked 19th in the country in blocks per set. Meador coached two players that finished in the top five in total blocks and blocks per set in both the PacWest and NCAA DII in 2020.

Meador's start in collegiate volleyball came in 2017 at Pasadena City College where he served as a volunteer assistant coach and technical director.
