Erin Green

Working alongside three head coaches: building the program’s foundation as a Division I program to reaching unprecedented success to rebuilding the program, alum Erin Green (Joki) has been a staple on the University of North Dakota volleyball staff since 2012. Green will begin her 10th season on the Fighting Hawk bench in 2021 after a standout career with the Fighting Sioux and North Dakota volleyball program.
 
She returned to campus after spending a season on the bench with the Grand Forks Central volleyball program (junior varsity head coach/varsity assistant).
 
Green has helped guide UND to a pair of Big Sky regular season titles (2013, 2016), two league tourney title (2016, 2017) and the school's first two NCAA Division I Tournament appearances.
 
In addition, Green has helped mentor two All-Americans, two conference players of the year and specialists of the year, as well as 21 all-conference student-athletes. Along with her roles on the bench, Green is in charge of North Dakota's academic success that has helped the program to two AVCA Team Academic Awards and has seen two Academic All-Americans and 50 players named to the Big Sky Conference or Summit League's Academic Honor Rolls.
 
Green played in over 100 matches in her career at UND (2007-2010) and registered 707 kills in her four seasons for the Green and White. She racked-up 855.0 total points scored, a mark that sits 10th in UND's record books for points scored in the rally era.
 
The 5-foot-11 product of Grand Rapids, Minn. was named the 2010 Great West Conference Player of the Year after a superb senior campaign.  She hit .283 with a career-best 310 kills, leading UND to back-to-back GWC regular season and tournament titles (2009, 2010).
 
Green and her husband Zach live in Newfolden, Minn., with their son Wes (3) and Cora (1).
