Corey Lichtman joined UND on August 4, 2025 and is currently in his first season serving as the Athletic Communications Director for North Dakota volleyball, men's basketball and softball.
Lichtman joins UND after spending nearly 1.5 years at the University of Florida as an Athletic Communications Assistant from Jan. 2024 - June, 2025. He was the primary communications contact for the women's lacrosse team, who made back-to-back appearances to the NCAA Final Four. Lichtman worked heavily with Florida football, working on flip card duties for all home games of the 2024 season, while updating player bios, constructing game notes and calculating in-game research for the Gators.
Prior to Florida, Lichtman spent a year at Colgate University as a student intern, helping with athletic communication responsibilities in the office and on game day. He was the main talent statistics person for the 2023 Patriot League Men's Basketball Championship between Colgate and Lehigh on CBS Sports Network. Lichtman was on play-by-play in the broadcast, for a Colgate field hockey game against Wake Forest in Oct. 2023. Â
A native of North Bellmore, N.Y., Lichtman graduated from Utica University in 2023 with a degree in Communications and Media, specialized in Sports Communications and Public Relations, while also gathering a minor in Journalism. He competed on the Utica University football team for five seasons and was a two-time All-Empire 8 selection as a kicker. Lichtman connected on a 50 yarder in 2022 against Western New England, tying the program record for longest career field goal.
