David Folske was elevated to the full-time role of video production coordinator in July 2014 after having spent the previous three years as a media relations intern specializing in new media and video production.
In that role, Folske coordinated and supervised video production for UND Athletics live events and original programming. His duties also included videography, video editing and graphics for all live events, feature stories and post-game content.
Folske serves as producer and supervising producer for all broadcasts on FOX Sports North, as well as supervising producer on "Through These Doors," a behind-the-scenes show that showcases UND's men's hockey program. In 2013, 2014, and 2016, Through These Doors garnered nominations and honorable mentions from the College Sports Media Awards for Best Program Series in Collegiate Athletics and was also a Midwest Emmy nominee for Best Sports Program Series in 2013.
A 2013 graduate of UND with a bachelor's degree in communication, Folske was a sports anchor and feature reporter for Studio One, the University of North Dakota's live television show, in 2011. His feature stories earned him multiple SPJ Region 6 Awards.
Folske is a native of Bowman, N.D.
