Cierra (Roebuck) Hangsleben, a senior, serves as the director of women's basketball operations for the Fighting Sioux. She served as a student assistant coach in 2007-08 and from 2005-07 was a member of the UND women's basketball team.

A native of Grand Forks, N.D., Hangsleben appeared in 46 games in her two seasons with the Sioux and was a part of back-to-back North Central Conference championship teams, including the 2006-07 squad that advanced to the NCAA Division II Women's Basketball Elite Eight Championship.

Hangsleben, an elementary and special education major, was named to the NCC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll in 2006-07.

A 2005 graduate of Grand Forks Central High School, Roebuck lettered three times in basketball and was an all-conference performer as a senior. She also letttered four times in track and field, was a two-year team captain and a mulitiple-time state qualifier. She also competed in volleyball and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Hangsleben and her husband Matt were married earlier this year. She is the daughter of UND head women's basketball coach Gene Roebuck.
