Daryle Tucker is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Fighting Sioux men's basketball program. Tucker also serves as the program's video coordinator and is heavily involved in all aspects of recruiting.
Tucker came to Grand Forks from Division I Southeastern Louisiana University, where he served as director of basketball operations during the 2006-07 season.
Prior to that, Tucker was the assistant director at the Ken Littlefield Inc. Juco Summer Events from 2004-06, where he worked under the tutelage of national recruiting analyst Ken Littlefield and was able to develop a vast recruiting base throughout the southeast.
During this time, Tucker also enjoyed stints as an assistant coach with the Valdosta State men's program and the Georgia Southwestern women's program. While at Georgia Southwestern, Tucker helped lead the team to an eight-win improvement from the previous season and its first conference tournament appearance in three years.
Tucker, a native of Conyers, Ga., played his collegiate basketball at Atlanta Christian College, where he was a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American guard. He received a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in biblical studies from Atlanta Christian in 2004 and is currently pursuing his master's degree in educational leadership at UND.
