Timm Pint

Timm Pint will serve as the interim head baseball coach for the 2007-08 season. Pint spent the previous two seasons on the UND coaching staff as coach Ziegler’s top assistant. Pint worked with the outfielders, hitters, and helps Ziegler with recruiting.

A native of Charles City, Iowa, Pint has spent his first three years as a volunteer assistant at Waldorf College as well as the head sophomore and assistant varsity high school coach of the Charles City Comets. Pint helped lead the Comets to two state tournament appearances in his three-year tenure with their best finish being runner-up in the State of Iowa class 3A in 2004. This past summer Pint was the assistant coach for the Grand Forks Blues who compiled a 26-10 record, winning the Winnipeg tournament by sweeping the competition and making it to the championship game of the Montgomery tournament for the first time in five years.

Pint played baseball for and graduated from Waldorf College in 2003 with his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Finance and is working on his Masters of Science degree in Educational Leadership here at UND.

Pint lives in Grand Forks with his wife Lanette, who graduated with her M.Ed in special education from UND and is currently a special education teacher at Crookston High School in Crookston, Minn.
