GRAND FORKS, N.D.--University of North Dakota junior wide receiver Weston Dressler and senior defensive lineman Adam Wolff have been named to the 2006 D2Football.com All-America Team. Dressler was named to the first team, while Wolff was a second team selection.

Dressler, a native of Bismarck, N.D., was one of 24 candidates for the 2006 Harlon Hill Trophy awarded annually to the top player in Division II football. Dressler caught a Division II-leading 90 passes and set school records with 1,215 receiving yards and 16 receiving touchdowns, while breaking his own UND single-season record for all-purpose yardage (2,027). Dressler also became UND's all-time leader in career receptions (167) and career touchdown catches (25).

Dressler led the NCC in virtually every receiving category while ranking third in the nation in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. It is the fourth All-America honor this season for Dressler, who earlier this year was honored by Daktronics, Inc. and the America Football Coaches Association. He has now earned six career All-America honors after being named a 2005 Don Hansen's Football Gazette first team selection and a 2005 CollegeSportsReport.com second team pick.

Wolff, a Dell Rapids, S.D., earned his third All-America honor of the season ? and of his career ? after starting all 13 games at nose tackle for the Sioux. Wolff registered career highs in tackles (47), solo tackles (28), tackles-for-loss (9.5), quarterback sacks (4.5) and quarterback hurries (seven). He was named 2006 North Central Conference Most Valuable Defensive Lineman.

Wolff was named to the 2006 Daktronics, Inc. All-America Second Team earlier this week.

The Fighting Sioux went 11-2 overall in 2006, including a 7-1 NCC mark. UND captured its second straight conference title and advanced to the NCAA Division II quarterfinal round.
