GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The UND men's hockey team continued its climb up the polls, moving up one spot in both the USCHO and USA Today national polls that were released today.
The Fighting Sioux moved up from fourth to third in the Jan. 28 USCHO/CSTV men's poll and from fourth to third in the Jan. 28 USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Division I Men's College Hockey Poll.
North Dakota has won seven games in a row -- tied with Miami for the longest current winning streak in the nation -- and is coming off a weekend home sweep over Alaska Anchorage.
The Sioux will travel to Minneapolis, Minn., this week to take on Minnesota in a Friday-Saturday series at Mariucci Arena. Minnesota is ranked 15th in the USA Today poll and 18th in the USCHO poll
