GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- The University of North Dakota men's hockey team helds its first weekly press conference, where local media outlets gather at Ralph Engelstad Arena to talk with coaches and student-athletes.

Each week FightingSioux.com will bring you the video of this press conference for free on FightingSioux.com. Each week senior Brad Miller will also host a video segment, where he will interview his teammates among other things he has in store.

This week head coach Dave Hakstol said he was excited about the start of the season and excited about the 2008-09 Fighting Sioux.

"There's always been that burst of excitement the first couple of weeks," Hakstol said, "but we haven't just seen a burst. We've seen it be a sustained level."
