GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- If you can't attend the men's hockey Frozen Four in person, Ralph Engelstad Arena has announced they will be hosting the world's largest viewing party. UND plays Boston College at 5 p.m. CT.
The event will be held in conjunction with the 2008 World Curling Championships currently being held at REA. The 30,000 square foot Broken Broom lounge in the REA Olympic Arena will offer live music, multiple food and beverage options, and large video screens.
Event Timeline
- 11 a.m. -- Doors open
- 3 p.m -- Live music featuring Still Fighting It
- 5 p.m. -- UND men's hockey vs. Boston College
Seating is first-come, first-serve. Parking is free to anyone wearing Sioux apparel, and asked to park in the REA north parking lot outside the Broken Broom Lounge (Olympic Arena). Five pairs for nexts year's UND/Minnesota men's hockey series at REA will also be given away.
Following the UND/BC game, Team USA will face Team Canada at 7 p.m. in the World Men's Curling Championship on the REA main rink.
If you can not attend this event, the UND men's hockey game will be broadcast on ESPN2 at the location of your choosing.
