GRAND FORKS, N.D. ? University of North Dakota senior forward Ryan Duncan has been named WCHA Co-Offensive Player of the Week and freshman forward Jason Gregoire has been named WCHA Rookie of the Week for their roles in UND's WCHA sweep of third-ranked Minnesota last weekend in Grand Forks.

Duncan scored one goal in Friday's 6-3 victory over the Golden Gophers, then added his first two-goal game of the season in Saturday's 6-1 win, including the eventual game-winner. It was Duncan's 14^th career game-winning goal, moving him into fourth all-time at UND. The Calgary, Alberta, native, also scored his 33^rd career power-play goal, which moved him into a tie for fourth all-time at UND in that category.

Duncan's three-goal weekend gave him 151 career points, which ranks 21^st all-time at UND and leads all active NCAA Division I players.

In 24 games this season, Duncan has a team-leading 10 goals and is tied for the team lead with five power-play tallies. He is tied for third on the team with 18 points.

He shared WCHA Offensive Player of the Week honors with Wisconsin junior defenseman Jamie McBain.

Gregoire, a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, enjoyed the first four-point weekend of his young career, snapping a 10-game goal-scoring drought in the process. In Friday's 6-3 win, Gregoire had his first career two-goal game ? including the game-winner ? and added an assist. Gregoire added his third goal of the weekend in Saturday's series clincher.

In 24 games this season, Gregoire has eight goals and eight assists. He is currently enjoying a four-game point streak, with four goals and two assists during that stretch.

It is the first time this season UND has had multiple WCHA honorees in the same week.

St. Cloud State junior goalie Jase Weslosky was named WCHA Defensive Player of the Week honors.

UND, 13-10-1 overall and 8-5-1 in the WCHA, travel to Michigan Tech this weekend for a Friday/Saturday series with the Huskies. The puck drops at 6:07 p.m. Central each night.
