This Week: First place in the WCHA is on the line this weekend when the 15th-ranked Fighting Sioux host No. 4 Denver on Friday and Saturday at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
The Pioneers sit atop the league standings with 23 points, three better than the Fighting Sioux, who are tied for fourth place with Colorado College.
Second-place Wisconsin (22 pts.) and third-place Minnesota (21) are idle this weekend.

The All-Time Series: The Sioux hold a 128-110-7 (.537) edge in the all-time series with Denver and are 78-39-4 (.661) in Grand Forks. The two teams last faced in the 2008 WCHA Final Five semifinal, with the Pioneers winning 3-1. UND claimed the 2007-08 regular season series 3-1-0, including a sweep in Denver.
