Sioux ranked No. 2, No. 3 in national men's hockey polls

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The Fighting Sioux men's hockey team is ranked among the top three nationally in both college hockey polls released today. UND remains ranked No. 2 in the USA Hockey/USA Hockey Magazine poll and is ranked No. 3 in the USCHO.com/CBS College Sports poll.

UND, which was ranked No. 2 in both polls last week, recently earned a WCHA road split at Alaska Anchorage, winning 5-0 on Friday before falling 2-1 on Saturday.

Miami remains the nation's top-ranked team in both polls.

The Sioux (4-1-1, 2-1-1 WCHA) are idle this weekend and will return to action Nov. 6-7 at Michigan Tech.
