GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Tickets are still available for Saturday's Potato Bowl football game and Friday and Saturday's men's hockey regular season-opening games.
Fewer than 4,000 general public tickets and just over 550 UND student tickets are available for Saturday's Potato Bowl football game between Stony Brook and UND. Kickoff is set for 1:07 p.m. at the Alerus Center and the game will not be televised.
The Fighting Sioux men's hockey team hosts Merrimack this weekend with faceoff on Friday set for 7:37 p.m. and Saturday at 7:07 p.m. at the Ralph Engelstad Arena.
Just over 300 tickets are still available for Friday night's game and 186 still remain for Saturday night's contest.
Friday night's contest will feature a pre-game raising of the 2008-09 WCHA championship banner.
The general public can purchase football tickets in person at the Alerus Center Box Office, the UND Box Office at the Ralph Engelstad Arena, online at Ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

UND students can pick up their free football tickets at the UND athletics department ticket outlet in the basement of the Memorial Student Union, the Chester Fritz Auditorium box office or the UND box office at the Ralph Engelstad Arena. Once the allotment of free UND student tickets has been picked up, UND students will be charged $5 per ticket. Student tickets that must be purchased can only be purchased at the Chester Fritz Auditorium or the UND Box Office at the Ralph Engelstad Arena Monday through Friday. On Saturday those tickets can only be picked up or purchased at the Alerus Center Box Office.
The Alerus Center box office and the UND box office at the Ralph Engelstad Arena are open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Alerus Center box office is open at 10:00 a.m. on game days and the UND box office at Ralph Engelstad Arena is open Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
The UND athletics department ticket outlet at the Memorial Student Union is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Chester Fritz Auditorium box office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
