Fighting Sioux ranked 10th in national polls

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The Fighting Sioux men's hockey team is ranked No. 10 in both the USCHO.com and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls released today.

UND fell one spot in both polls after a home split with WCHA rival and second-ranked-ranked Minnesota Duluth last weekend. The Sioux won 4-2 on Friday night before suffering a 3-2 overtime loss on Saturday.

UND now takes to the road for a pair of series against nationally-ranked opponents. The Sioux will face No. 13/14 Wisconsin on Friday and Saturday, then will travel to No. 6/7 Nebraska Omaha the following week.
