Sioux finish up 2010 Iowa State Classic

AMES, Iowa -- The Fighting Sioux men's track and field finished the 2010 Iowa State Track and Field Classic this afternoon at the Lied Recreation Center.

In the men's 800-meter run, senior Kyle Rosseau (Eagan, Minn.) finished 40th with a time of 1:57.31, while senior Jeremy Jones (Grand Forks, N.D.) finished 57th with a time of 1:59.85.

In the men's 400-meter dash, freshman Chris Benson (Devils Lake, N.D.) finished 70th with a time of 52.31, freshman Matt McCreary (Grand Forks, N.D.) finished 72th with a time of 53.47 and freshman Adam Thelen finished 73th with a time of 53.63.

The Fighting Sioux return to action Friday and Saturday Feb. 26-27 in Vermillion, S.D., for the Great West Conference Indoor Championship.
