COLUMBIA, MO. -- The Fighting Sioux men's track and field team had three athletes place in the top 10 of their respective events after day one of the University of Missouri Relays.

Sophomore Chris Stoks (Virginia, Minn.) placed 10th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.47.

Senior Travis Schultz (Lakeville, Minn.) placed eighth in the hammer throw with a throw of 148.01 feet (45.13) and fellow senior Dan Sjarpe (Lanesboro, Minn.) placed 10th in the same event with a throw of 119.01 feet (36.29 meters).

The Sioux wrap up the Missouri Relays on Saturday starting at 9 a.m.
