UND ranked No. 7 in final USA Today/USA Hockey Mag poll

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - The University of North Dakota is ranked seventh in the final USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll of the 2009-10 season.

The Fighting Sioux went 25-13-5 overall and made their eighth straight appearance in the NCAA postseason tournament, the longest active streak in the WCHA. UND also went 15-10-3 in conference play and won the Broadmoor Trophy as WCHA Final Five champions.

Boston College, which defeated Wisconsin 5-0 in Saturday's national championship game, is ranked No. 1 in the season's final poll. UW is ranked No. 2, while third-ranked Miami, fourth-ranked Denver and fifth-ranked St. Cloud State round out the top five.

Bemidji State, which will join the WCHA next season, is ranked No. 12.
