NCAA selection show airs Sunday morning on ESPN2

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- ESPN's coverage of the 2011 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship will begin with the Selection Show on Sunday, March 20, at 10:30 a.m. Central on ESPN2 HD.

John Buccigross will host along with analysts Barry Melrose and former Michigan hockey standout Sean Ritchlin. The show will unveil the 2011 bracket with predictions and analysis of each region, highlights from conference championships and interviews with head coaches.

North Dakota senior forward and Hobey Baker Award finalist Matt Frattin will be interviewed by Buccigross via satelllie after UND's bracket is announced.

ESPN will cover all rounds of the 2011 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Championship and, for the first time, every game will be aired in high definition, beginning with the east and west Regionals on Friday, March 25 on ESPNU HD and ESPN3.com.

The coverage will culminate with the national championship game Saturday, April 9, at 6 p.m. on ESPN, ESPN HD, ESPN3.com and ESPN Mobile TV from St. Paul, Minn. Gary Thorne and Melrose will have the call of the game, with Clay Matvick reporting.
