GRAND FORKS, N.D. - On Saturday morning, the 2001 University of North Dakota football team will be inducted into the UND Letterwinners Hall of Fame. The Fighting Sioux capped a 14-1 season with the school's first national championship, earning the title with a 17-14 victory over Grand Valley State in Florence, Ala. 

This summer we caught up with several members of the 2001 football team at the annual football alumni golf tournament in Minneapolis. We asked them, including a handful that will not be able to attend this weekend, to share their memories of the season and that special team for FightingSioux.com.
