DENVER-- Senior diver Jennifer Anklan was named the Western Athletic Conference Female Diver of the Week, announced Tuesday by league officials. Bakersfield's Paola Hernandez won the league Swimmer of the Week award.

Anklan, a senior from Rochester, Minn. (John Marshall HS) recorded a new school record, an NCAA qualifying cut and a pair of personal bests in a dual win over Minnesota State, Moorhead Friday at Hyslop Pool. Anklan's NCAA Zone-qualifying 271.13 effort from the 1-meter board erased a school mark that had held since 2001 (Molly McDonald- 270.00). She also won the 3-meter event and set a new personal best, recording a 275.10 score, a mark that is the seventh-best in UND history.

North Dakota heads to Wisconsin-Stevens Point this weekend for the Border Battle Invite.
