LAS VEGAS, NEV. -- The North Dakota men's tennis team was shutout 7-0 by Ball State on Friday, March 14 in nonconference play.
Ball State won each of the doubles matches by a score of 8-2, earning the doubles point and gaining a 1-0 lead over UND.
North Dakota was unable to beat Ball State in singles action. The closest match was in No. 2 singles where senior Ryan McGuigan (Fargo, N.D.) fell to Ray Leonard by a score of 6-3 and 6-3.
UND will return to the court on Saturday afternoon when they play Northern Arizona at 4:00 p.m.
