SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The latest thrilling entry in a season's-long dominating performance from the top position in singles competition for North Dakota has resulted in a Men's Tennis Singles Peak Performer of the Week accolade for Leo Galliano, league officials announced on Tuesday.   
 
While facing Drake in Saturday's home match, the sophomore cruised to victory in the Fighting Hawks' lone match of the week. He earned a 6-2, 7-5 win in straight sets from the No. 1 court, holding off a late opponent rally to secure a key singles point for North Dakota. This proved vital for an eventual 4-3 team win over the Bulldogs while also improving Galliano's own singles record to a perfect 14-0 from the top spot.
 
The accolade marks the third career singles peak performer award for the Chalais, Switzerland-native.
