USA defeats Canada for gold, Finland takes bronze

Five of the eight countries competing at the 2015 IIHF Women's World Championship will have ties to the North Dakota women's hockey team. UND has representatives on the national teams from the United States, Canada, Finland, Sweden and Germany. The tournament is being held in Malmö, Sweden and competition begins this Saturday, March 28.

Additionally, two current UND seniors will participate with their national teams at the 2015 IIHF Division I Group A Women's World Championship, which will be held in Rouen, France, April 12-18.
