About Last Night
North Dakota rode short-handed goals by Drake Caggiula (Jr., Whitby, Ontario) and Luke Johnson (So., Grand Forks, N.D.), the latter an empty-net goal, to a 4-1 victory over ECAC champion Quinnipiac last night in the regional semifinals.

Bryn Chyzyk (Jr., Virden, Manitoba) added an even-strength goal and Tucker Poolman (Fr., East Grand Forks, Minn.) opened the scoring with a power-play goal as UND eclipsed three goals for the first time since the NCHC Quarterfinals opener on March 13.

Zane McIntyre (Jr., Thief River Falls, Minn.) made 29 saves and came within 1:26 of his first career NCAA postseason shutout.

UND, which was out-shot 30-25, went 1-4 on the power-play and killed seven of eight QU chances.
