About Last Night
Zane McIntyre (Thief River Falls, Minn.) made a season-high 43 saves and Connor Gaarder (Sr., Edina, Minn.) scored the game-winner for the third straight game as North Dakota clinched the Penrose Cup outright with a 2-1 win over the RedHawks. It also extended UND's nation's-best unbeaten streak to eight games (7-0-1).

Sean Kuraly scored the lone goal for Miami, which out-shot UND 44-27, including a 39-16 margin over the final 40 minutes.

It was the fifth straight win for UND, which has just one loss in its last 14 games (12-1-1) and has not lost in regulation time since Jan. 9 vs. No. 7 Minnesota Duluth. Its only other loss during that 2-month span was a 3-2 overtime loss at No. 5 Omaha on Jan. 30.
