Tonight
The battle for home ice in the first round of the NCHC Playoffs continues tonight when North Dakota and St. Cloud State conclude their series at Ralph Engelstad Arena.
UND is currently in a fourth-place tie with Omaha for the final home ice spot, just one point ahead of fifth-place St. Cloud State and two points better than seventh-place Miami.

All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox) and on stations across the UND Sports Home of Economy Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app. Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, in his 38th season as the voice of UND men's hockey, calls the action while Steve Olson provides color analysis.
Tonight's game will be telecast live by Midco Sports Network and will also be carried live on FOX College Sports Pacific and DISH Network (channel 441). Alex Heinert calls the action with analysis from former UND goaltender Jake Brandt and rinkside reports from Katie Hale.

About Last Night
The Fighting Hawks suffered their third straight home loss -- and fourth loss in their last five games overall -- with a 3-1 setback at the hands of St. Cloud State.
Grand Forks native Jacob Benson opened the scoring in the first period, while Jimmy Schuldt added a second-period goal and Ryan Poehling a third-period goal. Netminder Jeff Smith turned aside 28 of the 29 shots he faced.
Junior defenseman Tucker Poolman (East Grand Forks, Minn.) scored a power-play goal at 8:16 of the third period as UND narrowly avoided being shut out in consecutive games for the first time in program history.
Senior Matt Hrynkiw (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) made his second straight start and stopped 16 of 19 shots.
UND outshot the Huskies 29-19, although St. Cloud State blocked an impressive 25 of UND's 64 shot attempts.
