GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Fighting Hawks fans are invited to join UND Athletics coaches, student-athletes and staff at the 2017 North Dakota State Fair in Minot this Sunday, July 23, for the sixth annual UND Sports Day presented by Home of Economy.
From 1-3 p.m. fans can stop by the UND Athletics tent to meet their favorite student-athletes and UND hockey coach Brad Berry, collect autographs, pick up brand new 2017-18 North Dakota Athletics promotional materials, and take a picture with all four Big Sky Conference championship trophies from the 2016-17.
The first 300 fans in attendance will also receive a free Fighting Hawks tumbler.
Fans can also enter a drawing to win a Traeger Tailgater Grill ($449.99 value) courtesy of Home of Economy, while kids eighth-grade and younger can be registered for Jr. Champions.
UND men's hockey coach Brad Berry will be in attendance, along with the following student-athletes: Austin Cieslak (football), Faith Dooley (volleyball), Alivia Fraase (football), Rhett Gardner (hockey), Tank Harris (football), Veronica Kessler (soccer), Lexi Klabo (women's basketball), Austin Poganski (hockey), Bailey Strand (women's basketball) and Demon Taylor (football).
The 2017 North Dakota State Fair runs July 21-29 at the State Fair Center in Minot.
