ABOUT NORTHERN IOWA
Northern Iowa enters Saturday's match riding a two-game losing streak and has lost its last five contests vs. Division I opponents.
The 4-7 mark is a bit uncharacteristic of a Ben Jacobson team, falling to UT Arlington, Penn, Old Dominion, Utah State, South Dakota State, Iowa, and Grand Canyon.
UNI's last win over a DI foe came on Nov. 19 in the Virgin Islands when the Panthers defeated Old Dominion, 54-53.
The Panthers close out the nonconference portion of their schedule on Dec. 29 vs. Stony Brook.
AJ Green has been the top scorer for the Panthers this season, averaging 15.5 points per game as well as hitting a team-high 26 3-pointers.
