Saturday Notes: UND vs. Minnesota Duluth

This Afternoon
North Dakota continues its pursuit of a 16th straight berth in the NCAA Tournament when it faces Minnesota Duluth in the NCHC Frozen Faceoff third-place game at Xcel Energy Center.

The Bulldogs were defeated by No. 2 seed Denver 2-1 in the second of two semifinals on Friday night.

Multiple scenarios exist where UND, currently 14th in the PairWise rankings, can still earn an at-large berth for the national tournament with a win, loss or tie this afternoon against the Bulldogs.

The puck drops at 3:38 p.m. Central.

Broadcast Coverage
All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the UND Sports Home of Economy Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app. The flaghsip station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, in his 39th season as the voice of UND men's hockey, calls the action while Steve Olson provides color analysis.

Today's third-place game will not be televised but will be streamed live online via NCHC.tv.
