THIS WEEK
North Dakota continues its five-game homestand Saturday, inviting Michigan Tech to town for the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame game.

ABOUT LAST WEEK
Jordan Kawaguchi scored in the latter stages of the third period to tie it and then Westin Michaud won it 52 seconds into overtime in a thrilling 2-1 North Dakota win Friday. Saturday, Grant Mismash's goal just 36 seconds into the game set the tone for a 4-1 North Dakota win.

BROADCAST INFORMATION
Saturday's game will be telecast live on Midco Sports Network, the primary TV home of North Dakota hockey. Alex Heinert does the play-by-play, with former UND goalie Jake Brandt handling the color analysis with Katie Hale as the rinkside reporter. The series will also be available via streaming at NCHC.tv. All UND men's hockey games, home and away, can be heard on stations across the UND Sports Home of Economy Radio Network, as well as through the iHeart Radio app. The flagship station for the network is 96.1 FM (The Fox). Longtime broadcaster Tim Hennessy, in his 41st season as the voice of UND men's hockey, calls the action while Steve Olson provides color analysis.

TICKET INFORMATION
Tickets information can be found at the UND Box Office at Ralph Engelstad Arena or online at FightingHawks.com/tickets.

SHOTS ON GHOULS
North Dakota tops the country in fewest shots on goals allowed per game at 17.7 per contest. Conversely, UND has generated 32.5 SOG/game, making its +14.8 differential the second-highest ratio in the NCAA.

COLTON BOOOOOO-LMAN
The captain's empty-netter at the end of the Saturday win over Bemidji State gave North Dakota its 14th different goal-scorer already this season through three weeks.

TYCHONICK OR TREAT
Sophomore Jonny Tychonick scored his first career goal in the 4-1 win over Bemidji State Oct. 26. He is already halfway to his point total from last season (0-4--4)

ADAMS' FAMILY
Collin Adams moved to the top line center spot and has been key in UND's 4-1-1 start. The junior is a team-leading +8 plus/minus rating and an opponent has yet to score when he's been on the ice this season.

ADAM'S FAMILY
Sophomore goaltender Adam Scheel is among the nation's leading netminders with a sparkling 1.48 goals-against average heading into this week. That GAA ranks fifth in the NCAA.

JACOB-O'LANTERN
Jacob Bernard-Docker has a team-leading six assists this season. The sophomore enjoyed a four-assist game in the Oct. 12 win over Canisius.

MONSTER MIS-MASH
Grant Mismash scored just 36 seconds into Saturday's win over Bemidji State, setting the tone early. He also assisted on Jonny Tychonick's first career goal, racing the puck into the zone on an odd-man rush and finding JT for a tap in.

KILLING ME SOFTLY
The North Dakota penalty kill unit has been good so far through five games (17-18), allowing its first goal on Friday on the penalty kill.

HAUNTED HOUSE
North Dakota has enjoyed a six-game winning streak at home, dating back to last season. In that run are a pair of overtime wins and just eight goals against for UND.

JORDAN KAWA-BOOOOOOOCHI
Junior assistant captain Jordan Kawaguchi broke a three-year curse of UND players not earning an NCHC Forward of the Week honor. Prior to Kawaguchi winning it Oct. 28, the last UND player to be honored with that particular honor was Brock Boeser after his hat trick and five total goals against Bemidji State nearly three years to the date (Oct. 24, 2016).

KAWA-BUNGA, DUDE
Jordan Kawaguchi, who led UND in goals, assists and total points last season, scored his first goal of the season in the 2-1 win over Bemidji State Oct. 25.

WCHA WATCH
North Dakota is in the midst of three straight opponents from the WCHA (at MSU, vs Bemidji State, vs Michigan Tech). Coming into the season, UND was a combined 264-110-23 (.693) against those three teams all-time.

10-4, GOOD BUDDY
Ten players lead the way for UND with at least four points: Jacob Bernard-Docker (0g, 6a),  Jordan Kawaguchi (1g, 5a), Shane Pinto (2g, 3a), Westin Michaud (3g, 1a), Dixon Bowen (3g, 1a), Harrison Blaisdell (2g, 2a), Grant Mismash (2g, 2a), Mark Senden (2g, 2a), Collin Adams (1g, 3a) and Colton Poolman (1g, 3a).

POLL POSITION
UND moved up two spots to No. 14 in the Oct. 28 USCHO.com poll and debuted in the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine poll at that same spot.

STRONG NCHC FLAVOR IN THE POLLS
Seven of the eight NCHC teams are ranked or receiving votes in the USCHO.com poll this week. Denver took over the top spot three weeks ago with two-time defending national champion Minnesota Duluth now in sixth. North Dakota moved up to 14 with St. Cloud State falling to 16. Western Michigan and Omaha are the top two schools in the receiving votes area with Colorado College also appearing in the fourth poll of the regular season.
