LINCOLN, Neb. – The University of North Dakota women's tennis team fell, 7-0, to Colorado State on Sunday morning to conclude its weekend of action in Lincoln, Neb.

CSU (5-3) captured the doubles point before winning all six singles matches in straight sets to post its fifth win of the season. UND (4-5) has now suffered back-to-back losses and falls under the .500 mark for the second time this season.

The Rams picked up a pair of wins on the top pair of courts in doubles play to take the early 1-0 lead; however, the duo of
Zahra Finnigan and
Allie Ochotorena was leading 3-2 on the No. 3 court when play was called.

Colorado State was able to win all six of the singles matches in two sets, to post the sweep over the Fighting Hawks.
Kaede Amano forced the second set into extra points before falling, 7-6, on the No. 2 court while Finnigan took her second set to a 7-5 score at the No. 5 position.

North Dakota heads to Titletown USA next Saturday for a showdown with Green Bay at 1 p.m. before closing the weekend in Milwaukee on Sunday.
