DELAND, Fla. – The University of North Dakota women's tennis team fell, 6-1, to Stetson on Sunday morning in DeLand, Fla.

UND (6-7) drops its second match over its last three, and falls to 1-1 during its three-tilt stretch in the state of Florida.

Stetson (7-4) won the doubles point with victories on the No. 2 and No. 3 courts, but the duo of
Kaede Amano and
Masha Lobanova were deadlocked at five at the top position when two-person play was called.

The Hatters picked up five singles wins in two sets to collect the overall match victory, but
Isa Sullivan ended the match on a strong note for the Fighting Hawks with a thrilling three-set win on the top court. The competitors alternated 7-5 wins over the first two sets before Sullivan rolled to a 10-5 triumph in the tiebreaker to earn a point for the Hawks.
